An exit slip road was closed on the M25 near Swanley while the air ambulance responded to an accident.

It landed near Wested Lane and there was a full closure of the exit at Junction 3 due to a collision involving two cars.

Kent Police was called just after 11.50am by paramedics from South East Coast Ambulance Trust and attended alongside Traffic Officers.

A person was taken to a local hospital but the extent of their injuries is unknown.

Traffic was queuing to Junction 4 for Orpington before the road reopened at around 2pm.
