Dartford teenager arrested after sock stuffed with suspected cocaine found in Pinewood Place

A teenager was arrested after 10 wraps of suspected cocaine were found stuffed in a sock thrown from a car window.

It was found in Pinewood Place, Dartford, on Monday, October 3, at around 6pm after patrols from Kent and Metropolitan Police flagged down a suspicious vehicle.

An officer witnessed an item being thrown from the car before the driver stopped in Franklin Road.

A search found the sock, stuffed with a white powder.

Officers spoke to the driver and seized three mobile phones and a quantity of cash.

A sock, similar to the one found stuffed with drugs, was also found in the car.

A 19-year-old man from Longfield was arrested at the scene on suspicion of possession of class A drugs with intent to supply.

He has been released pending further enquiries.
