Dartford's good run came to an end with a 2-0 defeat at Staines Town in Blue Square Bet South on Saturday.
Andre Scarlett put the hosts ahead after just five minutes when Tom Goodacre failed to deal with a long ball forward and was turned by the Staines attacker who drilled low past Darts keeper Andy Young (pictured).
The killer second arrived on the break four minutes before half-time from Scott Taylor shortly after Elliott Bradbrook had been forced off with injury, being replaced by Danny Harris.
Young prevented a third goal with a good low save before the break and Goodacre headed over from a Lee Noble corner after the restart but Dartford rarely threatened and Young was called on more than once to keep the deficit to two.
Darts slipped to 13th, one place below their conquerers Staines.
