Wearing a grey sweatshirt, the 21-year-old spoke only to be identified. He was remanded in custody.

Dr Anyetei, 54, was stabbed in her silver Toyota Avensis outside her home in Teynham Road, Dartford, on August 14, as she set off for work at St Thomas's Hospital in central London.
