The surviving Hither Green burglary suspect has been given a conditional discharge after admitting stealing sunglasses.
Billy Jeeves, who is currently on bail on suspicion of raiding the home of Richard Osborne-Brookes in April, appeared at Sevenoaks Magistrates' Court last Tuesday to face two charges of theft.
However, his plea of guilty to only stealing a pair of sunglasses was accepted by the prosecution and he was sentenced on the day.
Jeeves, who has lived in Swanley and Hextable, stole the shades from a van parked in Swanley and belonging to Rob Ives in January. A Bosch drill, cash and Nurofen also went missing.
Magistrates imposed the two-year discharge, meaning he will avoid prison for the offence as long as he stays out of trouble, and ordered him to pay £75 compensation, £85 court costs and a £20 victim surcharge.
The 28-year-old, who is currently in custody, is being investigated by the Met after being named as the alleged accomplice of Henry Vincent, who was stabbed to death by Mr Osborn-Brookes after threatening him with a screwdriver.
No bail date has been set but the Met has previously confirmed a charging decision will likely be made after all outstanding matters are dealt with.
