A suspect has been charged after a pensioner was robbed of a gold chain in the street.
A woman in her 70s was in London Road, Swanley, when she was approached at around 1.30pm on Tuesday (April 2).
As the person got closer, the victim thought it was a woman she had met earlier outside a supermarket in Orpington who was asking for signatures for a charity.
As the woman got closer, she allegedly reached for a chain the victim was wearing and took it.
Police were called and arrested a suspect later that day.
Daniela Niculai, of Nightingale Road, Edmonton, Greater London, has since been charged with robbery.
The 30-year-old appeared before Sevenoaks Magistrates’ Court yesterday (Thursday, April 4).
She was remanded in custody pending a hearing at Maidstone Crown Court on May 3.
