A global fast-food chain has opened its ninth branch in Kent.
Taco Bell launched its new Dartford store in the town's High Street last week.
The Mexican-inspired restaurant has been serving tacos, quesadillas, burritos, nachos and loaded fries since June 2010.
It officially opened to the public last Monday (January 30) – marking the company's 124th UK store.
Customers are able to order in advance via the Taco Bell app, website or third-party delivery platforms or use the digital kiosks in-store to takeaway.
The American chain opened another site just one week prior, at the Folkestone Stop24 services at Junction 11 of the M20 near Hythe.
It also has stores in Folkestone, Maidstone and Canterbury.
However, the new Dartford branch has been in the making for years.
In 2017, documents were submitted on the council's planning portal for a unit at 54 High Street.
The building was left vacant by KFC, which had moved into the Priory Shopping Centre.
At the time no opening date was given.
Lucy Dee, head of marketing, commented: "We’re delighted to be able to bring Taco Bell to Dartford.
"The community has been asking for more Taco Bells and we’re very pleased to be able to deliver.
"We look forward to feeding residents, whether it be via home delivery, click and collects, takeaway or dine in."
The branch is open from 11am to 11pm every day.
