Manchester United v Charlton Athletic

CHARLTON manager Alan Pardew hopes star striker Darren Bent will be fit for Saturday's match at leaders Manchester United.

Bent has been out since damaging knee ligaments against Aston Villa on January 2.

Meanwhile, newcomers Madjid Bougherra and Alex Song will also be available to make their debuts. Bougherra looks certain to replace the suspended Talal El Karkouri in central defence.

But skipper Luke Young and Andy Reid are not ready to resume following long-term injuries.
