The cab of a tanker lorry was destroyed after a fire erupted in the engine compartment.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus tackled the blazing vehicle in Marsh Street, Dartford, just after 12.30pm.
A hose reel and fog spike were needed to reach under the cab and into the engine compartment to put out the flames.
A thermal imaging camera was also used to ensure the fire, which is being treated as accidental and caused by an electrical fault, was fully extinguished.
There were no reported casualties.
