An 18-year-old has been arrested on suspicion of theft after a dog went missing.
Kalli, a cross between a French bulldog and a pug, was last seen in Spring Vale North, Dartford, at 9pm on Good Friday.
Julie Borland was taking her daughter's dog for a walk with a friend when the incident happened.
They made a theft report to police and an appeal was shared on Facebook.
Officers carried out inquiries into the incident and yesterday the 13-week-old pup was found safe and well at a property in the area and reunited with her owners.
Miss Borland said: "We feel amazing and so relieved that she is back.
"It's for my daughter's mental health. Just to see her face and how happy she was when she was returned, it was a special moment."
The puppy will be taken to a vet for a health check.
"Kalli is very excited and very happy," Miss Borland added.
"This shows you that there really are good people out there, and people do help. Our post got nearly 3,000 shares on Facebook."
The arrested teen was released pending further enquiries on April 7.
