A teenage boy has been arrested after two girls were allegedly groped in the street.
Police had earlier appealed to help find a suspect following the reported attack in Dartford earlier this month.
Detectives launched an investigation after the incident, which is said to have taken place in Highfield Road.
It was reported the two youngsters were touched inappropriately while they were out walking between 8.30am and 9.30am on July 6.
Officers have now arrested a 16-year-old boy on suspicion of sexual assault.
He has been released on bail while inquiries continue until August 3.
