An arrest has been made following a huge emergency services response at a housing estate.

Paramedics, police and fire crews were called to an address in Burroughs Drive, Temple Hill in Dartford shortly after 10.30pm last night (June 12).

An image sent to KentOnline shows five police cars - including a dozen officers - plus an ambulance and another emergency service vehicle in the area.

Police were first called following concerns for a man’s welfare.

It is alleged he was also throwing items out of a window.

They were joined by members of the ambulance and fire service after a small fire was started.

One fire engine attended the scene and crews extinguished the blaze five minutes later.

It is believed the fire was started deliberately.

A 19-year-old man has since been arrested on suspicion of assaulting an emergency worker.

He remains in custody while inquiries into the incident continue.
