A teenage boy has been arrested after a car was stolen during a burglary.
Officers made the arrest only two hours after the crime took place, when the stolen Volvo XC70 was spotted by police and tailed to an estate in Swanley.
A TV, camera and tablet computer were also taken from a property in Beechenlea Lane, Swanley, on Saturday, January 17.
Some of it was then found in the front garden of a house nearby.
A 17-year-old boy was arrested in connection with the theft and has been bailed until March 16 pending inquiries.
Sevenoaks acting district commander inspector Robert Slade said: “This is an excellent example of local officers working together with their roads policing colleagues to provide a first class service for victims of crime.”
