POLICE have isssued CCTV images of teenagers they would like to speak to after a bus was set on fire.
The incident happened in Dartford Road, Dartford, at about 3.45pm on Monday, July 31.
A group of five to six teenagers got onto the Number 96 bus at Bexley Heath Clocktower and got onto the top deck.
As the driver reached the junction with Princes Road and Dartford Road he looked in his mirror to the top deck and saw something on fire.
The bus stopped at a stop in Dartford Road and the teenagers got off and ran off towards Crayford.
Det Sgt Matt Long, the officer investigating the incident, said: "We are issuing these CCTV stills in the hope that someone will recognise the teenagers who we believe have information that could help with our investigations.
"Someone could have been seriously injured during this incident and we are appealing to anyone who has information to contact police. The information will be dealt with in complete confidence."
The teenagers are described as white and aged between 15 and 16. One of the boys was wearing a pink polo shirt and two of them were wearing shorts and no tops.
One boy is described as having a sun-tanned complexion with light blond shoulder-length hair and wearing a blue tee shirt and white trainers.
