Three teenagers have been arrested and another is on the run after a police hunt following reports of a stolen car.

Officers pulled over the suspected stolen vehicle in Hawley Road, Dartford just after 10.10pm last night.

A 19-year-old woman, a 17-year-old boy and a 16-year-old girl were arrested at the scene on suspicion of theft and remain in custody.

The driver of the vehicle fled on foot.

Officers searched the area with the help of the police helicopter but he was not found.
