The Les Witton Darford 10 race attracts several hundred runners every year
Runners should finally take to the roads of north Kent this weekend for the re-arranged Les Witton Dartford 10.
The race, originally scheduled for January 20, was postponed because of heavy snow.
It was the third year running race director Dave Behagg had been forced to find a new date. In 2011, there were problems regarding road closures, while traffic management issues forced the 2012 race to be moved back to March.
He said: "Because of the busy calendar, people have their dates booked so we’ve had to try to find one that’s relatively clear. We are still clashing with other things.
"The main things we need to have in place, because we’re on roads close to London, are traffic management, road closures and marshalling staff."
Sunday’s race starts at 9.30am on Darenth Lane in Dartford.
