The Queen Elizabeth II bridge will be closed overnight tomorrow for planned maintenance works.

Drivers will be diverted for southbound traffic via the east Dartford Tunnel and should expect some minor delays.

The closure of the QEII Bridge between Dartford and Thurrock is going ahead to carry out resurfacing, carriageway sweeping, litter clearance and electrical works.

It will be closed between 10pm on Saturday night and 6am on Sunday morning.
