Arrangements for the 84th annual Dartford Festival are well underway with groups, charities and businesses being offered one of the biggest marketing opportunities of the summer.
The two day festival attracts tens of thousands of visitors, and council leader Jeremy Kite has called it "an amazing opportunity to showcase the town’s organisations and businesses."
He added: "Some councils no longer support a major summer festival but we see it as a fundamental part of celebrating the great community spirit and bringing people together.”
The council says festival organisers work hard to ensure the event is accessible and affordable for every type of sponsor or stall holder.
Taking place across the weekend of July 18 and 19, this year's festival will again feature both a main music stage and a community stage offering a showcase for Dartford talent.
Last year’s event featured performances from the Lightning Seeds, The Farm and Björn Again.
Jeremy Kite said: “We will shortly start announcing the bands playing this year but our focus right now is to ensure that all local businesses and groups, however large or small, can be part of the weekend."
You can download a stall holder pack here, or email festival@dartford.gov.uk, the deadline for applications is midnight Wednesday, July 1.
