Three men were arrested on the approach to the Dartford Tunnel.

The group - all detained on suspicion of thefts from other vehicles - were tactically stopped by police on the A282 last night.

Officers from the Kent Police Roads Policing Unit identified their car travelling on the B2175 before swooping in on the group at about 10.40pm.

All from Tilbury, the men are aged 37, 34 and 25.

They all remain in custody while inquires continue.
