A major route has reopened after an accident involving two cars and a lorry.
The A2 coastbound was shut near the Darent junction for Bluewater, in Greenhithe following the incident just after 7am today.
Rush-hour drivers faced delays of up to 30 minutes, which have since cleared.
At one point, queues were stretching back to the M25 junction, and there were tailbacks towards the QE2 bridge.
A spokesman for Kent Police said: “We were called at around 7.10am on Friday, September 13 following a collision involving two cars and a lorry on the A2 coast-bound between the junctions for the M25 and Bean.
“Officers attended. No serious injuries were reported and the road was clear by around 8.30am.”
A spokesman for South East Coast Ambulance (SECAmb) said: “SECAmb were called at approx. 7:15am this morning to reports of a multi-vehicle RTC on the A2 just before Bluewater.
“Crews assessed and treated one person at the scene before taking them to Medway Maritime Hospital for further medical care.”
