Dartford manager Tony Burman is keeping one eye on the weather ahead of their Blue Square Bet South trip to Havant.

Havant have had their last two home midweek matches called off about an hour before kick-off and Burman said: "It is a difficult pitch there and I hope the weather improves.

"If it is called off I hope they make a decision before we travel. It will be another tough game, but we have to go there and do our best.

"We have had a difficult last two months, but come out of it with some good results.

"We cannot take anything for granted, though, as the result against Hampton showed, and we mustn’t let our standards drop."

Keeper Andrew Young returned after a shin injury at Dorchester, with John Whitehouse leaving to join Welling.

Burman said: "John came in to help us but is a No.1 not a No.2. I am just surprised that no other clubs came in for him before."

Dartford are at home to Basingstoke on Tuesday.
