Dartford manager Tony Burman says he hopes his squad has the correct blend of youth and experience which will allow them to fight for promotion from Blue Square Bet South next season.
Burman (pictured) completed his third signing of the summer with long-term target, former QPR and Barnet man Richard Graham, arriving from Eastleigh.
Burman said: "That is our third new player and I am happy with what we’ve done. We might possibly have one more to come in but I am not in any rush.
"We are a young squad with a lot of players at a good age but the coaching staff sat down and we agreed that we would need a little bit of experience. We felt Richard fits the bill.
Burman added: "It’s important to find the right balance within your squad and Richard has experience of playing at this level and will bring good knowledge to the squad."
Meanwhile, Burman has hinted he would like a more streamlined squad this season.
He said: "I think perhaps we had too many in the squad and that maybe caused confusion. You have got to have a good 16 because you will need to use everybody at some stage – you have to allow for things like injuries and suspensions.
"You want people to fight for the shirt and show the right attitude when they are not in the team to get back in it and make sure we have got some difficult decisions to make."
