Rush hour traffic in Dartford is in chaos after a car crash and lorry fire.

Queues on the M25 are stretching back to junction 3 at Swanley following a three-vehicle accident on the Dartford Tunnel approach at about 3.30pm.

And traffic on the A2 is gridlocked both ways near Falconwood following a lorry fire on the coastbound carriageway at about 3pm. Smoke from the blaze is billowing across the road onto the London-bound side, leading to its closure and traffic queues back to its junction with the M25.
