Delays are now easing this morning after a crash on the QEII bridge resulted in the closure of two lanes.

The incident happened on the approach to junction 1A for the A206 and Swanscombe at around 7.30am and has caused tailbacks to junction 30 for the A13 in Essex.

Two of the crossing's four lanes were closed earlier to allow emergency services to respond, but they have now reopened.

It is not known if anyone was injured or how many vehicles were involved.
