THE family of a 26-year-old motorbike rider killed in a road crash have paid a moving tribute to him.

Vincent Fox, from Milestone Road, Dartford, was pronounced dead at the scene of the tragedy in London Road at Greenhithe.

The motorcycle he was riding was involved in a collision with a silver Vauxhall Corsa at about 3pm last Thursday.

His father, Derek Fox, said: "Vincent was a fun-loving person with a passion for motorbikes, which he had had since he was a small child.

"He was much loved by all who knew him, and he will leave a big hole in the lives of his family and friends, who all miss him dearly."

The road was closed for just over three hours while forensic officers and police officers from Kent Police's Serious Collision Investigation Unit gathered evidence.

The car driver was treated for shock.

Kent Police is appealing for witnesses to the incident.

Anyone has any information they should contact Sergeant Glyn Walker, of the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, on 01622 798 358.
