Tributes have been paid to a teenager who died in a Dartford road crash.

The family of 18-year-old Andrew Wylie, who died in a head-on collision with an articulated lorry, said he was a "beautiful intelligent young man".

His father, John, said: "Andrew had a great sense of humour and always used to get into fits of giggles. He had an infectious laugh and was a real joker - even as a kid, giggling away.

"He was popular and well-known around Bromley and and was very talented, turning his hand to anything. I will miss my little boy deeply."

The youngster, of Palmerston Road, Farnborough, has left a brother, Chris, heartbroken, the family said.

Sister Lisa, 20, added: "I will always remember Andrew as a beautiful intelligent young man who always amazed me with his many talents.

"I will miss his magic tricks and flips and bouncing around on his stilts. He was always giggling and was very popular and loved by everyone who knew him."

Andrew was driving an Audi which was involved in a collision with the HGV in Green Street Green Road, at about 2.40pm on Tuesday, March 9. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The lorry driver was shocked but uninjured.

A section of the road, where it crosses the A282 Dartford Crossing approach, was closed shortly after the crash and remained shut on Wednesday for resurfacing.
