A family have paid tribute to a "much-loved" man who died when his van overturned in a crash on Darenth Hill.
Previously named locally as Danny Adair, 32-year-old Danny Downes died while driving his white Peugeot Partner van on Saturday, June 18.
He ended up mounting the green at the junction with Green Street Green Road and Darenth Hill, and overturning the vehicle at around 7.30pm.
Mr Downes was soon to be a dad to a baby boy and a gofundme page was set up to pay for his funeral.
So far it has raised £3,235 of its £3,000 goal.
A family statement today said: "Danny was a much loved son, brother, grandson, fiancé, stepdad and friend and was looking forward to being a dad to his little baby boy.
"It brings comfort to us all knowing that Danny’s memory will live on through him.
"He was dedicated to his work as a landscaper, as well as being a bit of a jack the lad. He had a love for motorbikes and was at his happiest whilst riding his bike.
"He wore his heart on his sleeve.
"We would like to thank you for your kindness and generosity and ask to respect our privacy at this sad time."
Officers from Kent Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit are appealing for witnesses.
