A neighbour has remembered a "lovely" mum whose body was found at Bluewater shopping centre.
Taiwo Balogun went missing at the beginning of last month and was found dead in a lake in Greenhithe on December 30.
Ayse Ripley, who was Taiwo's neighbour in London Road, Crayford, has set up a GoFundMe page in hopes of helping the mother-of-three's family.
The 35-year-old said: "It's absolutely heartbreaking.
"I cannot imagine her family's heartache and pain so I would just like to help in some way.
"I'm hoping to raise £3,000 which could go towards funeral costs, food, clothes and living expenses they also must have bills to pay."
Met Police has stated that although the body found on New Year's Eve is yet to be formally identified it is believed to be Taiwo. Her family have been informed and the death reported to the coroner.
Ayse says she and Taiwo moved into new build flats in the area at the same time seven years ago.
She said: "Taiwo was a really lovely lady.
"I always spoke to her and she'd come to BBQs and firework displays, we'd always say hello.
"I can't believe that she's gone.
"I just always thought she was going to come home, I kept hoping for the best."
The Kent Coroner Service has confirmed it is investigating a death under Taiwo's name.
A spokesman said: "A post-mortem will be carried out in due course."
So far £1,390 has been raised for Taiwo's family by Ayse's fundraising campaign.
