Pensioner threatened with knife in robbery by three men wearing face coverings in Dartford High Street

A pensioner had his wallet stolen after three men wearing face coverings threatened him with a knife.

The victim, who is in his 70s, was walking in Dartford High Street at around 3pm yesterday when he approached an alleyway used as a cut-through towards The Orchard Theatre.

He was pulled to one side by the trio, who demanded he hand over his money.

They threatened him with a knife then rifled through his coat before taking a wallet which contained cash.

Police investigating the robbery say the suspects are described as black and were all wearing blue face coverings.

One man is described as around 6ft 1ins, stocky and wearing blue latex gloves with a black coat with the hood up.

The second suspect was wearing a yellow, green and blue horizontal striped jumper with a black hooded coat with the hood up. He was also wearing blue gloves.

A third suspect wore a black coat with the hood up.
