The left hand tunnel at the Dartford Crossing has been closed following a crash.

Emergency crews were called following a collision involving a car and a van on the anticlockwise carriageway of the M25 at 11.40am.

Congestion was reported tailing back to Junction 2 of the motorway at the A2 Darenth Interchange.

The road was reopened at around 12.20am, but traffic is still queuing due to the incident.

No serious injuries were reported.
