Traffic backlogs are easing after an accident involving a motorcyclist on the M25 anti-clockwise at the Dartford Tunnel.

The east bore tunnel is now open and all lanes open after the accident.

Earlier, two lanes were closed for the police probe blocked.

Jams also built up on the A2 in both directions approaching J2 for the Darenth Interchange.

A Highways England spokesman said delays were at one stage lasting one-and-a-half hours - or nine miles of slow moving traffic.
