Drivers are being warned to expect delays after a lorry broke down near the Dartford crossing.

It happened between J1a of the M25 for Swanscombe and J31 for West Thurrock.

The eastern tunnel was shut, and traffic was diverted to the other tunnel.

It had reopened by 1.30pm, but tailbacks are still stretching as far as junction 3 for the Swanley Interchange.
