The right-hand Dartford Crossing tunnel has reopened after a vehicle broke down.

Traffic was affected between the tunnel anti-clockwise around J1a for Erith and J31 for West Thurrock until just before 2pm.

At one point, congestion was tailing back on the M25 halfway to J3 for the M20 and Swanley Interchange, with journeys extended by around 50 minutes.

The right-hand tunnel (the higher of the two tunnels) was earlier closed, but this has now reopened.

All delays have cleared.
