The driver of a BMW who allegedly failed to stop for police and crashed into two vehicles has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and burglary.
The crash happened in Heath Lane in Dartford at about 9.25pm last night after a police chase.
Officers investigating the crash say they are appealing for witnesses after the vehicle came to the attention of officers who requested it stop.
Police say officers pursued the car for a short time before it crashed into two parked vehicles.
The driver, a man aged 25, and the passenger, a woman aged 20, both sustained injuries described as minor.
One vehicle ended up on its side in a garden wall.
The driver was taken to Darent Valley Hospital, while the passenger was taken to a London hospital for treatment. Both are still in hospital.
Police spokesman Vicki Foster said: "Officers believe the vehicle was reported as stolen.
"Following the incident the man was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and burglary while the woman was arrested on suspicion of theft, burglary and possession with intent to supply.
"Officers from the serious collision investigation unit are appealing for witnesses to the collision or any motorists who may have dash cam footage or CCTV footage of the incident."
