A road was blocked and traffic queued after a two vehicle crash.

There were delays on the A225 Eynsford Road in both directions, where it meets the A20 Main Road, for several hours.

SECAmb sent two ambulance crews out just after 2pm. A woman had shoulder pain and a man was complaining of chest pain related to the impact.

SECAmb left the scene by 4pm and one of the injured motorists was taken to Darent Valley Hospital, though SECAmb could not confirm which one.

Police were also on site managing the traffic. The road has since reopened.
