Two people have been arrested for alleged assault following a disturbance in a town centre park.
A crowd of bystanders watched after fighting broke out, said to be instigated by a drunk woman and involving three others.
The fracas began at the park's cafe and moved onto the skate park and memorial gardens with initial reports suggesting a car was driven around the park, in Market Street, on Saturday afternoon (March 24).
Kent Police confirmed officers were called to Dartford’s Central Park at 5.30pm after reports of fighting.
Police made two arrests - a 13-year-old and 15-year-old from Dartford.
Jeremy Kite, Dartford council leader, said dogs near the fight belonged to bystanders. He added: "It wasn't actually a brawl. It was one person [lady] kicking off."
A Kent Police spokesman said: "There is no reason for people to be unduly concerned as it was an isolated incident that was contained and dealt with rapidly and efficiently by Dartford officers."
