An inquest was opened and adjourned on Tuesday. A post mortem suggested Mr Lambird died of multiple injuries.

The two girls were taken to hospital but both have been discharged. The driver of the other car - a 56-year-old man from the Medway area - was also taken to hospital with a suspected broken ankle.

Mr Lambird, who grew up in Dartford, leaves two children from a previous relationship, Ayrton and Felicity, and partner Alison Dobson who has two sons, Connor and Alfie.

Floral tributes have been left at the scene, including two bouquets believed to have been left by Mr Lambird's children.
