A TEENAGE boy had to have surgery on his face following an unprovoked assault and robbery.
The 17-year-old victim was walking home from Dartford town centre when he was set upon from behind by two people.
He was kicked and punched several times before the offenders escaped with his watch and mobile phone worth £300.
The boy lost two teeth and underwent surgery to a fractured jaw after the assault, which happened at around 2.30am on Saturday, July 14, in Princes Road, close to Winstons Esso petrol station.
One of the attackers was white, aged 25 to 35 and wore a cream hooded top.
Det Const Sam Myers said: "This was a particularly nasty and unprovoked attack. Lots of people would have been making their way home at that time of night – someone must have seen something or know who is responsible."
