A mountain of rubbish, which has been left at the side of a busy road for around a month, has been blamed on travellers.
The mountain, which includes nappies, mattresses and a bath, was dumped in Central Road at the end of November.
A man who did not want to be named, posted a video of the rubbish on a Facebook group, called Dartford Past, Present and Future.
He said: “This is the second time rubbish has been tipped here, and it has become a health hazard with soiled nappies.
“It looks like about 20 tipper trucks' worth of rubbish has been dumped along the road.”
He said he reported the fly-tipping to Dartford Borough Council at the end of November.
A council spokesman said they were trying to contact the landowner to make sure the rubbish was removed as quickly as possible.
“The fly-tipping was caused by a traveller incursion in Central Road at the end of November.
“Dartford Borough Council have investigated to try to trace where the fly-tipped waste came from but with no success.
“The landowner is responsible for the clearing of the waste and securing their land, and it is unacceptable for it to remain there this long.
“We are pursuing the landowner to ensure that it is removed as soon as possible.
“We urge people to ensure they only use licensed waste carriers who will dispose of rubbish responsibly and help stop this happening.”
