Its route took in the High Street, going
past the Paper Moon pub, briefly stopping at One Bell Corner for
the National Anthem before proceeding back to the bandstand at
Central Park.

Afterwards, there was a concert in Central Park featuring
Premier Brass Band, Big Fish, Cultural Beats and the Bloco Foga
Samba band.

There was also a cardboard cutout of the royal couple
themselves.

Gurvinder Sandher, director of the Kent Equality Cohesion
Council, which has organised the parade said: "St George's Day and
the Royal Wedding are important events which need to be celebrated
and we felt the schools parade was a good way of doing this."
