Video footage captures the moment three yobs, some armed with poles, vandalise a parked car and smash the windscreen.
Logan Heasman’s electric Peugeot 208 was damaged for the second time in Paddock Close near the junction with Towers Wood in Darenth around 10.10pm on December 23.
Only two weeks earlier on December 12, the same incident occurred when his windscreen was smashed, which he only discovered when he tried to go to work the next day.
The 22-year-old, who works as a software engineer, says he has no idea why he has been targeted and police are appealing for information.
The video evidence of the latest offence shows the moment three men surround the vehicle as one man jumps onto the bonnet before intentionally smashing the windscreen with his foot.
Two of the perpetrators can then be seen smashing the car with what appears to be a metal pole or stick.
The incident was caught on camera after Logan decided to install a recording there after the first act of vandalism two weeks earlier.
He said: “I seem to be being targeted but I don’t really speak to people around the area as I work in central London.
“I am mainly frustrated that I don’t know why this has happened.
“I believe it’s a case of mistaken identity.”
During the incident on December 23, as soon as Logan noticed the men he ran out immediately but by the time he left the building the perpetrators were gone.
Now, Logan’s car has been written off due to the extent of the damage which he says has made his life “much more difficult” from not being able to drive places.
Residents with private CCTV and motorists with dashcam are urged to check for any footage that may help.

A police spokesman said: “The vehicle was parked and unattended when it is alleged three men smashed the windscreen and damaged panels before running from the scene.
“The victim’s car was also damaged earlier in the month and inquiries are underway to identify those responsible.”
