Motorists are being advised to beware of farm animals in a road after four cows escaped from a field.
Drivers were shocked as they travelled along Southfleet Road in Bean this afternoon when one of them crossed in front of their cars.
Lisa Ayres, from Greenhithe, said: “There were four of them on the side of the road. I’m worried someone is going to drive too fast around the bend and hit them.
“One of them did start heading back up the bank through some trees. It looked like that was the same way they had got out of the field.”
It is thought the cows had escaped from a nearby field.
