WELLING manager Neil Smith is keen for his injury-hit squad to continue their mini-revival with maximum points at home to Maidenhead in Blue Square South on Saturday.

The Wings, who overcame Fisher 2-1 in the Setanta Shield in midweek, will be without long-term absentee Tony Sinclair and Robbie Ryan (hamstring).

But Smith still believes that they are capable of overcoming Maidenhead. He said: "It will be a big three points if we can get them.

"If we can get a few more results together when we remain unbeaten then it will push us right up the table.

"But maybe it's a case of taking it one game at a time with our squad at the moment as the last time we thought we could move ourselves up the table we lost our way a bit.

"We're going to go on the attack, we had three forwards on the bench last week and we might do that again as we want to win.

"Maidenhead went out of the FA Cup last week so they'll be looking to bounce back and it won't be easy for us."

Smith also confirmed that Sinclair, who is still waiting for the swelling to go down on his injured knee so he can have a MRI scan, is now likely to be sidelined for three to four months.
