Dartford's 2011/12 Blue Square South campaign got off to a lively start with a convincing 4-0 win at Weston-Super-Mare.
Charlie Sheringham bagged two second half goals to round off a resounding first half display from Tony Burman's side.
Elliot Bradbrook put the visitors ahead after 15 minutes when he got the final touch in a goalmouth scramble following Richard Graham's corner.
Sheringham had missed a golden opportunity to double the lead soon after when he put the ball wide from close range. He had already done the hard work rounding Weston keeper Lloyd Irish, but this was to prove the first of several sightings on goal.
Tom Bonner stretched the Darts' lead on 38 minutes. He arrived first at the back post to head home Ryan Hayes' corner.
Sheringham made amends for his first half miss after the break when he latched on to a clever ball over the top from Hayes, chested it down to control and fired past the keeper to make it 3-0. Shortly after, he grabbed his second of the afternoon and Dartford's fourth as he headed home a Matt Jones cross.
