Residents in Dartford have scooped some of the £3 million prize money in the People's Postcode Lottery.

The postcode sector DA1 3 was announced on Tuesday evening as the winner of the prize pot.

It was later announced that every winner in the area will get at least £1,000 with some winners pocketing six figure sums.

People's Postcode Lottery ambassadors Jeff Brazier and Matt Johnson will be in Dartford on Friday, August 2, knocking on the doors of players and revealing how much they have won.

Mr Brazier said: “I am really excited to cross over to Dartford and kick off the weekend in style for our winners. It’s amazing to be able to knock on someone’s door, give them that cheque, and know they are going to have a summer to remember."
