Charlton fought back from a goal down to claim a 1-1 draw at Wolves on Saturday – and they perhaps should have taken all three points.

The Addicks fell behind in the 12th minute when Frenchman Bakary Sako beat Ben Hamer (pictured).

But the visitors rallied in the second half, with Rob Hulse hitting the post shortly before Lawrie Wilson equalised with his first Addicks goal on 58 minutes.

Wolves, having looked comfortable in the opening 45 minutes, were forced on to the back foot as Chris Powell’s side threatened a winner.

On-loan striker Hulse was the biggest threat for Charlton, who slipped to 20th in the Championship, only two points clear of the drop zone, despite their encouraging performance.

His drive forced a good save from Wolves keeper Carl Ikeme and he also sent two headers wide when well-placed.
