A WOMAN and her dog were killed after the car they were in was involved in a collision with a parked lorry.

The woman has been named as 67-year-old Sylvia Williams, of Almond Road, Dartford.

Mrs Williams’s beige Citroen Xsara collided with the back of a lorry parked in a lay-by The accident happened on the A133 in Essex last Thursday at about 1.25pm.

The lorry driver was a 59-year-old man from Rayleigh, Essex, who was unhurt.
