Woman in hospital after motorbike and car crash on A2 Dartford Heath roundabout near Bexley

A woman has been taken to hospital after a crash involving a motorbike and a car.

Police were called to the scene on the A2, at the junction of the Dartford Heath roundabout, near Bexley at 8.30am.

A spokesman for the force added: “Officers and paramedics attended the scene where the motorcyclist was treated for injuries.

“She was taken to a London hospital for further medical attention.”

It’s understood paramedics also attended the scene where the motorcyclist was treated for injuries before being taken to a major trauma centre.

A London Ambulance Service spokesman confirmed a woman had been taken to a major trauma centre as a priority.

They added: “We were called at 8.33am this morning (Jan 29) to reports of a road traffic collision at the junction of Dartford Heath roundabout and the A2, Bexley.

“We sent resources to the scene, including an ambulance crew and an incident response officer.

There were long delays in the area with traffic brought to a standstill at the time but normal conditions have since resumed.
