A woman was left trapped in the wreckage of a car after it collided with a lorry near the Dartford Crossing.

Fires crews cut off the roof of the vehicle to reach the woman following the crash on the A282 late last night.

The car collided with the lorry on the anti-clockwise carriageway between junctions 1A and 1B at 10.15pm, closing two lanes just after the QEII Bridge.

Once the woman was released she was handed over to paramedics.

The extent of any injuries in not known.
