A woman was trapped in her overturned car this morning after a collision with another vehicle.

Firefighters from Dartford attended the crash on Green Street Green Road at 6.30am.

One of the crew said: “The woman wasn’t seriously injured, but she was in shock.

“We had to cut her out of the upside-down car and she was given over to the care of ambulance services.”

A man driving the other vehicle involved in the collision did not suffer any serious injuries.

The road, at the junction of Shellbank Lane, was closed for just over an hour to clear the crash and reopend at 7.35am.
